TANDO ADAM: Like other parts of the Country, three-day celebrations of Diwali (a Hindu festival of lights) were also started in Tando Adam city, Sindh.
The Hindu community held a special “Pooja” in Jholay Laal Temple under the supervision of Chairman Udero Laal Welfare.
On the directives of SSP Sanghar, the security of Hindu worship places has been increased to avoid any untoward situation. Sweets were also distributed among the people during the celebration of the main religious festival of Hinduism.
Tight Security Arrangements for Diwali
Meanwhile, SHO City Imtiaz Ali Khuhawar and CIA Incharge Akber Channa visited Laal Mandir and reviewed security arrangements.
Patron Jholay Laal Mandir Raj Kumar, while talking to the media, said that the Hindu community considers themselves safe and protected in Pakistan, which is the best example of interfaith harmony.
However, anti-social elements used tactics to create differences in the community and locals of other faiths, but the administration was fully cooperating with the Hindu community, he added.
