RAWALPINDI: The Hindu community in Rawalpindi came together to celebrate the Diwali ceremony at Chaklala Mandir (Temple) on Monday night. The vibrant event witnessed a large gathering of community members, including men, women, and children, who participated in the festivities with enthusiasm.
As part of the Diwali celebrations, the community lit earthen lamps, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and commemorating the return of Lord Rama. The temple premises were adorned with the warm glow of these lamps, creating a festive and joyous atmosphere.
Sweets and meals were distributed among the participants, adding a flavor of communal celebration to the occasion. To further enhance the festive spirit, the community organized a display of fireworks, adding a spectacular touch to the Diwali festivities.
