ISLAMABAD: Some armed men have attacked the house of a leader of the Awami National Party and member of the provincial assembly (MPA) of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Zeb Khan in Shangla, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The KP police said that while ANP politician Faisal Zeb Khan wasn’t home, his house sustained severe gunfire. As a consequence of the firing by the unknown armed men, the house was badly damaged, but the attackers ran away after an exchange of fire with the police. DPO Muhammad Imran said that the police have started a further investigation into the incident. All the political parties have condemned the attack on the house of Faisal Zeb.
