SANAA, Yemen: Yemen’s Houthis announced a joint military operation with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq militant group, targeting four ships at Israel’s northern Haifa port. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree stated that drones were launched against two cement tankers and two cargo ships on Saturday, claiming the vessels violated a ban on entering ports in occupied Palestine.

The Israeli military has not commented on the latest attack, despite previously denying similar claims by the Houthis. Saree also mentioned that the Houthis attacked the Shorthorn Express in the Mediterranean, aiming to disrupt shipping as a show of solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza war. While Saree claimed the operations were successful, these assertions remain unverified by independent sources.
