ISLAMABAD: As the countdown ticks down to a thrilling 12 days before the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, the song of the tournament has officially dropped now.
Jeeto Baazi Khel Ke, a vibrant creation by Abdullah Siddiqui, featuring evocative lyrics by Adnan Dhool and Asfandyar Asad, and brought to life by the renowned Atif Aslam, perfectly captures the fervour and thrill of the impending cricket showdown at the prestigious ICC event taking place in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The newly-released music video is a vibrant homage to Pakistan’s rich heritage, highlighting its bustling streets, lively markets, and electrifying stadiums, all while capturing the fervour of cricket enthusiasts from every corner of the globe. This catchy song is now streaming on popular audio platforms worldwide.
Lead singer Atif Aslam shared his enthusiasm about being part of this project, calling it a “remarkable moment” in his career.
“I’ve always had a love for cricket and dreamt of becoming a fast bowler. My passion for the sport allows me to truly feel the crowd’s excitement, their roars, and the emotional rollercoaster of each match,” he said.
I eagerly anticipate the India-Pakistan matches, which are charged with thrill and deep nostalgia. Contributing to the official song for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 is a moment I will cherish, he added.
ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya highlighted the song’s role in building anticipation for the tournament.
“We are thrilled to unveil the official event song for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. With the countdown under two weeks, this track encapsulates Pakistan’s cricketing spirit and is a heartfelt tribute to the Champions Trophy,” he remarked.
Tournament Director and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmad Syed celebrated the song’s release as a pivotal achievement on the journey to the global event.

“With the debut of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 official anthem, we are marking yet another exhilarating step toward the tournament. Syed expressed his certainty that stadiums—especially in Pakistan—would erupt with energy and excitement as fans unite to support their teams.
The eagerly awaited event, set to unfold from February 19 to March 9, promises to showcase the world’s top eight teams battling it out in 15 thrilling matches held across Pakistan and the UAE.
