DUBAI: The ICC has revealed that additional public tickets, including those for previously unavailable matches, will be released for purchase, along with premium hospitality packages. In a statement, the ICC said that tickets will be available from Tuesday and fans can buy tickets for the mega event that will be held in the West Indies and the USA. Currently, tickets are available for 37 matches, but 13 more matches, including the semi-finals, will be added at 10 am AST/2:00 pm GMT on Tuesday at tickets.t20worldcup.com. This means that tickets for 51 out of the 55 matches will be available for purchase. Prices for select Caribbean games start as low as US$6, while USA venue tickets start from US$35.
The 13 additional matches, across seven venues, are:
- Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago: Semi-Final 1 (26 Jun)
- Guyana National Stadium, Guyana: Semi-Final 2 (27 Jun)
- Broward County Stadium, Lauderhill: Ireland v Pakistan (16 Jun)
- Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Dallas: Nepal v Netherlands (4 Jun), US v Pakistan (6 June), Bangladesh v Sri Lanka (7 Jun)
- Kensington Oval, Barbados: C1 v A1 – Super Eight (20 Jun), A2 v C2 – Super Eight (21 Jun), A2 v B1 – Super Eight (23 Jun)
- Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York: Ireland v India (5 Jun), US v India (12 Jun)
- Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua and Barbuda: A2 v D1 – Super Eight (19 Jun), A1 v D2 – Super Eight (22 Jun)
More than 3 million ticket applications were received during the ballot, highlighting the immense demand for tickets to the event. In response, the ICC, alongside its commercial partners, is pleased to announce the expansion of public tickets, ensuring that supporters have ample opportunities to witness the excitement of the T20 World Cup in person. Chris Tetley, the ICC Head of Events, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to release additional tickets to 51 matches, accommodating more fans at every ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 fixture.”
In addition to standard tickets, hospitality packages will also be offered, providing fans with a premium experience that includes access to private suites and bespoke food and beverage packages across various venues in the West Indies and the Nassau County International Stadium in New York.
