ISLAMABAD: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match schedule for the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 in Malaysia, a statement said on Monday. Sixteen teams from across the world will participate in the 41-match mega event. According to the ICC, the event will take place from 18 January to 2 February 2025.
It added that 16 warm-up fixtures will also be played from 13 to 16 January, in preparation for the mega event. The second edition of this exciting event comes on the back of a successful inauguration in South Africa in 2023 where India beat England by 7 wickets in a thrilling final to be crowned the first-ever winners. It will be the hosts, Malaysia’s first appearance in the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup and Samoa’s first appearance in an ICC World Cup mega event.
The cricket teams will be split into 4 Groups of four teams each.
