ICC Women’s WC T20 South Africa Beat Pakistan in Warm-up Match

ISLAMABAD: Hosts South Africa beat Pakistan by six wickets in their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup warm-up match at Paarl on Wednesday.

Pakistan, electing to bat first, scored 142-5 in their 20 overs. Aliya Riaz top scored with her unbeaten innings of 48 from thirty balls with 7 boundaries and a sixer to her name.

Ayesha Naseem hit a boundary and sixer on his way to 12-ball 21 runs.

Ayabonga Khaka led the South Africa bowlers with her two wickets.

SA beat Pakistan in 19th over

Sune Luus’ side achieved the 143-run target in 18.2 overs on the back of opening batter Laura Wolvaardt’s half-century.

She scored 65 from 42 balls with the help of 5 fours and three sixers.

Aliya Riaz took 2 wickets. Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana sent pavilion a batter also.
