If Vucic Ordered, We Would Enter Kosovo But Inform KFOR: Serbian Defense Minister

BELGRADE: Serbia’s Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said on Monday that if the Serbian Armed Forces were to get orders from the President, as the Supreme Commander, to enter the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, as part of the Republic of Serbia, the Serbian troops would execute that task professionally, efficiently, and successfully.

Milos Vucevic said during a press conference that today, SAF Chief of General Staff General Milan Mojsilovic and he will only focus on the facts.

He emphasized that cooperation with KFOR is good.

In all these years, KFOR forces never crossed over into the territory of Serbia proper, nor did the SAF enter Kosovo without the consent of KFOR. The SAF has never violated any deal.

Campaign Against Serbian Armed Forces

Vucevic said that a systematic campaign was led against the Serbian troops, against its deployment in the territory of Serbia. If the Serbian Armed Forces were to receive orders from the President, as the Supreme Commander, to enter the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, the Serbian Armed Forces would execute that task.

He said that it would do this in a professional way and certainly inform KFOR about it in advance because “we never do anything behind its back.”
