IIUI President Calls on Pakistan’s Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi

ISLAMABAD: The President of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Prof. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, called on the Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Madad Ali Sindhi, here in Islamabad on Monday.

During the meeting, the minister appreciated the work and efforts of Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, saying his work has been exemplary.

The minister also lauded the upgradation of the systems in IIUI.

Madad Ali Sindhi said that the standard of education at the university has been consistently on the rise under the leadership of Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi.

He emphasized the need to increase the scope of the Seerat ul Nabi (PBUH) conference.

The minister said that IIUI should take the lead on this issue and ensure that such institutions not only concentrate on the academic education of the students but also on their character building.

The minister was informed that the Imam e Kaabah Sheikh Mahir Al Muaiqly has been invited to Pakistan and that the university will request him to grace the occasion of Seerat Ul Nabi (PBUM) conference as well.

Madad Ali Sindhi warmly welcomed Imam e Kaabah Sheikh Mahir Al Muaiqly’s visit and said that his presence will enhance the outcome of the Seerat ul Nabi Conference.

He said that our society urgently needs to learn the true teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUM) and adapt them.

The minister said that there was a dire need for tolerance and understanding of the peaceful religion of Islam.

Minister Assures Full Support for IIUI

He assured the IIUI President that the Education Ministry and Minister’s office would extend complete support to the university in its bid to enhance its standards.

Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi said that the people of Saudi Arabia consider the people of Pakistan as blood brothers.

Alotaibi said that academic education has been the top priority of the IIUI, in addition to character building of the students while instilling tolerance in society.

He further said that basic courses in Arabic Language have been provided by the university to ensure that people can directly read the Holy Quran and Sunnah and understand the true teachings of Islam without the need for any mediation.
