ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan Wednesday announced a nationwide election campaign from Saturday evening, following the historic decision of the Supreme Court to hold elections within 90 days after the dissolution of provincial assemblies in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in January.

In a virtual address, Imran Khan lauded the SC ruling and said that “the whole nation is standing with Judiciary. I appreciate and congratulate the judiciary on behalf of my nation on this ruling”, he said.

He called on party workers to come out in every district and hold corner meetings and rallies. PTI chief said that he would address these rallies and corner meetings.

Imran Khan said that he would tell the nation how to get out of the country from the quagmire it is stuck in. The government has no solution to the country’s issues or any roadmap.

Imran said he would present a roadmap on Saturday about what measures need to be taken in the future to take the country out of its current situation.
