LAHORE: Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday vowed to reveal how he was trapped in an ‘assassination’ plan at the Islamabad Judicial Complex.

Imran Khan, in his tweet, stated: “Shortly I will expose how I almost walked into a death trap and the plot to kill me in the Islamabad Judicial Complex; and how Allah Almighty saved me in the nick of time.”

The PTI chief also shared a video from his Twitter account of a man who was trying to provoke PTI workers to get violent.

Imran Khan asks PTI workers to protest peacefully

“I want to tell all PTI workers that no matter what the provocation may be, we must protest peacefully and within the bounds of the Constitution. Otherwise, we will give these fascist rulers reason for more violence.”

“All our workers that this government of criminals has jailed, today we will approach not only the courts but also international human rights organizations. We will ask all PTI chapters abroad to approach their local elected reps and politicians to inform them of the fascism going on in Pakistan,” Imran Khan stated in another tweet.

It may be noted that Imran Khan survived an assassination attempt at the Wazirabad rally last year, and threats had been issued by the Interior Ministry for another possible attack on his life.

The former prime minister, who is facing about 100 cases, has been requesting a video link hearing of the case because of security concerns.
