LAHORE: LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday severely criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, alleging his politics were based on lies, long marches, allegations, and chaos, but he has been exposed now.

Addressing the party’s youth leaders meeting at Model Town, Lahore, she said that Imran Khan had framed a fake foreign conspiracy narrative to mislead the youth but he has changed it now.

Maryam said Imran Khan should be held answerable for his U-turns and lies, as he had tried to tarnish the reputation of institutions and jeopardized the country’s ties with other countries.

She said that Imran Khan, instead of focusing on people’s uplift and public welfare projects during his tenure, indulged in making baseless accusations against the institutions to achieve his vested interests.

Maryam says Imran Khan destroyed Pakistan’s economy

Maryam said that Imran Khan did not launch even a single project in the health, education, and infrastructure sectors. He only raised hollow slogans of providing ten million jobs to the youth.

The PML-N chief organizer alleged that the former prime minister destroyed Pakistan’s economy and jeopardized its ties with the United States. He violated the terms and conditions of a deal his government inked with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

She added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during his tenure as the chief minister Punjab, had launched several programs including laptop and scholarship programs, IT Arfa Karim Tower, interest-free loans, and other schemes to provide opportunities and resources to the youth and them entrepreneur and self-reliant citizens.

Maryam further said that due to the measures taken by the then chief minister Shahbaz Sharif, the youth established various start-ups in the country.
