ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan is going to announce the date for the marchers’ arrival in Rawalpindi today.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, the only decision that now requires to be taken is whether the ‘revolution’ will be peaceful or bloody as he called on the nation to join him in his struggle for Haqeeqi Azadi.

Khan is expected to address his supporters today to announce the date for the marchers to reach Rawalpindi. On the other hand, preparations are in full swing in Rawalpindi to welcome the PTI Long March. The local PTI leadership and the district administration has started taking steps to accommodate and ensure food and shelter to the protesters. According to Imran Khan, holding snap polls is the only way out of the crisis. On the other hand, PML-N is not opting for fresh polls as the PML-N leaders knew they would face defeat.

Marchers’ arrival in Rawalpindi is likely to coincide with the date of appointment of the next army chief. According to defence minister, Khawaja Asif, the process for the appointment will start soon.

Imran alleges that Nawaz Sharif had stolen millions of rupees from the national exchequer and stashed them abroad. The PTI chief said that he was campaigning to free the nation and true freedom could never be achieved without rule of law.
