ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, wife of former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan on Friday filed an affidavit to the Supreme Court (SC), requesting the court to address her husband’s deteriorating health condition at Attock jail.

On August 22, Bushra Bibi visited her husband in Attock Jail after court permission. After the meeting, she formally submitted the affidavit through Advocate Hamid Khan to draw attention to Khan’s deteriorating condition.

Bushra Bibi said in the affidavit that Imran Khan’s health had been endangered while imprisoned, with apparent symptoms of dramatic weight loss and weak arm muscles. She voiced worry that his current health poses a significant risk, especially given his advanced age of 70.

The filed document claims that Khan’s health issues pose a major threat to his life. The affidavit emphasizes the seriousness of the issue and the need for prompt action to protect Khan’s safety and well-being.

Bushra Bibi once stated that her husband has consistently expressed his unshakeable dedication to enduring hardships and making sacrifices for the country’s benefit. She pleaded with the Supreme Court to act swiftly and decisively to address his worrying health condition.

Bushra Bibi pleaded, in the affidavit, with Pakistan’s top court to step in and ensure Imran Khan receives the proper care and medical attention he needs.
