ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Industries and Production proudly announces the commencement of the Industrial Advisory Council (IAC), a pivotal initiative spearheaded by Dr. Gohar Ejaz, the Federal Minister for Industries and Production.
The inaugural meeting of the IAC, held under the guidance of Dr. Gohar Ejaz and attended by Secretary of Industries and Production, Syed Asad Rehman Gilani, signifies a significant milestone in the realization of “Vision Pakistan: Road to $100 Billion Exports.”
The Industrial Advisory Council, an integral element of Dr. Gohar Ejaz’s visionary roadmap, brings together prominent CEOs from leading industrial groups in Pakistan.
Esteemed members include Mr. Fawad Ahmed Mukhtar, Mr. Muhammad Ali Tabba, Mr. Waqar Ahmed Malik, Mr. Abdul Samad Dawood, Mr. Raza Mansha, Mr. Shahzad Asghar Ali, Mr. Samir Chinoy, Mr. Amir Fayyaz Sheikh, Mr. Shahbaz Yaseen Malik, Mr. Ahsan Bashir, Syed Hyder Ali, and Mr. Farooq Naseem. Public members include secretaries from industries, commerce, and finance.
The first meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council convened on December 7, with Federal Minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz presiding over the session. The meeting served as a platform to amalgamate the collective expertise and insights of industry leaders to address crucial issues and propose actionable strategies for the advancement of the country’s industrial sector.
Private sector members of the Industrial Advisory Council presented their perspectives and expertise during the meeting, highlighting challenges faced by the industrial sector and offering practical suggestions for improvement. This collaborative effort symbolizes a united front to unlock the vast potential of Pakistan’s industrial landscape, aligning with the national objective of achieving $100 billion in exports.
