NEW DELHI, India: India’s foreign minister, S. Jaishankar, addressed concerns regarding the Chabahar port project in Iran, following warnings from the United States about potential sanctions on Indian firms involved in the project.
Jaishankar emphasized the need to communicate the mutual benefits of the strategic port development, highlighting its significance for regional trade and connectivity.

Under the newly signed contract, India Ports Global Limited (IPGL) committed to investing $370 million in developing and equipping the Chabahar port over the next decade.
