ISLAMABAD: India stormed into the U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup final, delivering a resounding 9-wicket victory over England in the second semi-final on Friday held in Kuala Lumpur.

Tasked with chasing down a target of 114, the Indian team completed the mission with five overs to spare, setting the stage for an exhilarating showdown against South Africa.

Earlier in the match, Parunika Sisodia’s extraordinary bowling performance played a pivotal role in limiting England to a modest 113/8. After winning the toss and choosing to bat, England enjoyed a promising start with Davina Perrin leading the charge, racing to 37 runs without loss during the powerplay.

However, the tide shifted dramatically as Sisodia and Aayushi Shukla orchestrated a stunning collapse in the English batting lineup. Perrin scored a solid 45 off 40 balls before Shukla sent her packing in the 12th over.
