NEW DELHI: The situation in Manipur, a northeastern state in India, has reached a boiling point with violent protests and clashes between citizens and government forces. The Narendra Modi government has been accused of using genocidal policies to suppress dissent in the region.

Reports suggest that the Modi government has deployed over 500 combat soldiers of CRPF’s Rapid Action Force to handle the situation in Manipur.

Personnel of the BSF, the Indian Army, and other forces were already deployed in the region to control the tense situation.

Despite the deployment of 15 companies of CRPF, the situation has failed to come under control, and 10 more companies of CRPF (about 1,000 soldiers) have left for Manipur.

The violence has resulted in the deaths of 10 people and left 80 injured due to the continuous brutality and abuse of the poor citizens on the government’s directives.

Modi government orders troops to shoot protesting citizens

The Modi government has ordered all forces to “shoot” protesting citizens, which has raised concerns about human rights violations. The government has also made India a map of an occupied valley where life has no value, further adding to the turmoil.

The United Nations has been urged to boycott G-20 in this situation, as the Modi government’s actions are against the principles of democracy and human rights.

The situation in Manipur is out of control, and the citizens are suffering from the government’s oppressive policies.

The Modi government’s deployment of military forces to suppress dissent in Manipur has resulted in the loss of lives and violation of human rights.

The government must take immediate steps to address the grievances of the citizens and ensure their safety and well-being.
