In response to this, the principal of the school, Meera Yadav, was suspended immediately under the Uttar Pradesh Government Servant (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999. Additionally, strict warnings have been issued to other teachers of the school, namely Tehzeeb Fatima and Mamta Mishra, on the grounds that they were considered accomplices in this act.

This incident has sparked a discussion around the intersection of religious practices and educational institutions, with implications for the broader debate on secularism and religious freedom in India. The suspension of the principal and the warning issued to the teachers signal the enforcement of existing guidelines in educational settings, reflecting the complex balance between religion and education in the country.
