SRINAGAR, Occupied Kashmir: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has raised alarm over the harsh methods employed by the Narendra Modi-led Indian government in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir to suppress the rightful struggle of Kashmiris for self-determination.

As per Kashmir Media Service reports, an APHC spokesperson in Srinagar vehemently condemned the abrupt dismissal of government employees, including notable figures like President of Doctors Association Kashmir Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan, Salam Rathar, Abdul Majeed Butt, and Farooq Ahmad Mir, without any formal investigation. These terminations, the spokesperson highlighted, are a part of the BJP regime’s anti-Kashmiri agenda. They urged international human rights organizations to press India to cease victimizing the people of occupied Kashmir, who are merely demanding their right to self-determination.

The spokesperson reaffirmed the unwavering determination of Kashmiris to persevere in their quest for liberation from Indian control. India, they insisted, must uphold its commitments by allowing the Kashmiri populace to independently determine their destiny through the exercise of their right to self-determination.

Simultaneously, APHC-AJK leader Muhammad Sultan Butt, in a statement from Islamabad, expressed grave apprehension over the escalating state-sponsored terrorism in occupied Kashmir. Butt remarked that India is systematically perpetrating genocide against Kashmiris, paying tribute to recently slain Kashmiri youth in Kulgam, Baramulla, Rajori, and other regions by Indian forces. He lamented the global community’s silence toward the atrocities faced by Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine at the hands of India and Israel, respectively.
