MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Senior Member Board of Investment Chaudhry Parvez Ahmed Warraich in his special message regarding ‘Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir’ (Kashmir Exploitation Day) August 5, has said that India has set an example of the worst violation of human rights in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) by changing its special status. He further said that by doing so, India abrogated Article 370 on August 5, 2019, distorting the Kashmiri people’s identity, leading to a constitutional crisis in the occupied territory.
He added that the innocent Kashmiris have been insulted by dividing the borders of the state. This inhumane action of India is not only a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and the resolutions of the Security Council but also an open violation for the countries, institutions, and organizations that are leaders of human rights, he said.
India Converts IIOJK into Military Cantonment
Waraich recalled that on August 5, 2019, the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) has been converted into a military cantonment where hundreds of innocent Kashmiris have been martyred and disappeared, resulting in a great human tragedy of the modern era.
We completely reject the process of partition by India, due to which millions of Kashmiris have been deprived of their basic rights. Transferring the fundamental right of self-determination of Kashmiris to non-state residents by changing the demographic ratio is a heinous conspiracy and an immoral act that will not be allowed to succeed under any circumstances, Waraich Warned.
He demanded the United Nations and the Muslim world adopt a common plan of action to remedy this unconstitutional tyranny and provide a free environment to the oppressed, helpless, and innocent Kashmiris according to their aspirations.
Chaudhry Parvez Ahmed Waraich repatriated Kashmir as the aorta of Pakistan and all the political parties of Pakistan are on the same page for the solution of the Kashmir problem.
