DUBAI: Indian rapper Honey Singh has shared a photo with Pakistan’s renowned singer Atif Aslam calling him a borderless brother.

The photo shared on social media has sparked speculation of a possible collaboration between the two music icons.

In the post, Singh described Atif Aslam as a “borderless brother” and highlighted their shared March birthdays. The photo, which shows the two musicians in a cheerful mood drew praise from fans in both countries.

Many fans have expressed excitement about the potential for a cross-border musical project, despite ongoing restrictions on Pakistani artists in India.

Although neither has confirmed collaborating on a project, the image has ignited excitement among fans, fuelling hopes for an artistic exchange between the neighbouring nations.

The Instagram post followed weeks after Honey Singh’s collaboration with Pakistani film star Mehwish Hayat and ‘Coke Studio’ singers Wahab Bugti and Sahiba.

Recently, Atif Aslam has launched his ambitious initiative ‘Borderless World’, to transcend borders and promote emerging talent and art at a global platform, irrespective of geographical barriers.

“It’s a platform to bring together artists, sounds, and stories from around the globe. Get ready for brand new music, epic music videos, that will bring a fresh wave to the music scene,” he said.
