FAISALABAD, Pakistan: Advisor to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah on Sunday said India’s intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), is behind terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
Speaking to media, he said Pakistan’s security forces were conducting daily operations against terrorists with a mission not to spare those involved in violent attacks.
He went on to say there was no need for a large-scale military operation in Balochistan, adding that military operations were already in full swing to wipe out terrorists.
He said that the country’s security forces had stopped many attacks, showcasing their capability to tackle security challenges without the need for a comprehensive operation.
“The armed forces are conducting intelligence-based operations every day. Dozens of operations are being carried out, and terrorists are being sent to their fate,” he said.
“There is no need for a large-scale operation in Balochistan as security forces are already dismantling terrorist networks.”
He stated India’s intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), was actively involved in destabilising Pakistan by funding and arming terrorist elements.
He called RAW the “mother of terrorists,” responsible for bringing together various militant factions operating within Pakistan.
“RAW is playing the role of the mother of terrorists. They are providing funding, weapons, and support to many militant outfits,” he claimed.
It is pertinent to mention Pakistan’s military spokesperson on Friday said that India is the main sponsor of terrorism in Balochistan.
Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry addressing a joint press conference along with the Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti denounced Indian media’s false propaganda against Pakistan.
“The latest attack in Balochistan and other terrorist incidents that took place in the past…we understand that the main sponsor of these [attacks] is your eastern neighbour,” the DG ISPR said.
