OTTAWA: Third Hindu temple is vandalised in British Columbia, Canada and posters of slain Sikh leader of Khalistan Movements were put up.
The incident happened late Saturday night and the main doors of the temple were glued by the Khalistan Movement posters.
The other two Hindu temples attacked in the past were at Brompton and in Ontario with the same slogans of Free Khalistan.
The statement in the poster asked Canada to investigate India’s role in the June 18 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Hardeep Singh headed Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Surrey, Canada. Two unidentified persons killed him in the Gurdwara premises on June 18. Hardeep Singh was also heading Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF).
The vandalised Hindu temple is Lakshmi Narayan in Surrey. It was the oldest and biggest temple of the Hindu community.
The first incident happened on January 31 in Brampton where anti-India slogans and graffiti appeared outraging the Hindu community. The second act of vandalism was reported in Ontario in April also bearing anti-India graffiti.
