NEWDELHI: A group of Hindu extremists has entered into the home of a Muslim family and sexually attacked an 18-year-old girl in Agra, India, local media reported on Saturday.
The occurred at the jurisdiction of Trans Yamuna police station in Agra. As per details, a video of the incident also went viral on social media and many social media users strongly condemned the act and also criticized Indian authorities for failing to protect Muslim minority in the South Asian country.

As per Indian media other members of the family were also targeted when they tried to challenge the attackers.
An FIR was registered against the Hindu extremists, but police have not yet arrested the perpetrators.
The owner of the house told the media that Hindu extremists tore off clothes of his daughter. He further said that when they resisted, the Hindu extremists, identified as Vishal Kumar, Sheelu, Sanjay Kumar, and Chhotu, assaulted the family members, while many stood guards outside the home.
The group of extremist Hindu also vandalized the home and pelted stones, he added. He maintained that his daughter was hit with a block in the skull and she fell unconscious. The girl’s brother said the family was attacked for being the only Muslim family in the area.
