ISLAMABAD: Imam Kaaba Dr Saleh bin Abdullah bin Hameed on Friday visited Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti at his residence upon receiving a special invitation.
Expressing a warm welcome, the Interior Minister conveyed that the presence of Imam Kaaba in his home is a blessing not only for him but for his entire family. He said the people of Pakistan love the land of Hijaz immensely and that the servants have immense devotion to the Haram Sharif.
Highlighting the strong bonds between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the Minister stated that these relations are rooted in shared faith, history, and people-to-people ties. He underscored Pakistan’s high regard for the brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia.
Muslims fully believe in Tawheed, and minor differences should not be allowed to lead to hypocrisy, Imam Kaaba said. “There is a need to enhance unity within the Ummah,” he asserted.
He said the primary reason for the problems facing the Muslim Ummah is sectarianism and unnecessary differences.
He urged for mutual respect, the promotion of harmony, and the cultivation of understanding among differing opinions. He further emphasised the importance of winning each other’s hearts and advocated against imposing individual opinions on others. —APP
