LAHORE: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that China’s historical role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy is unforgettable.
During a meeting with Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren in Lahore on Sunday he added that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects have taken the bilateral friendship to new heights.
The Interior Minister extended facilitation to the diplomat on Chinese National Day. They discussed matters of common interest and ways to boost bilateral ties.
Mohsin Naqvi said that China under the leadership of President Xi Jinping has crossed new milestones of progress. He said that China is a loyal and most trusted friend of Pakistan and its fast-paced progress is exemplary for all.
The Minister noted that China’s historical role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy is unforgettable. He said that the Pakistan-China friendship will remain intact and strong forever.

The Chinese Consul General speaking on the occasion, thanked the Interior Minister for doing some procedural amendments on Chinese businessmen’s request.
He added that Pakistan is China’s best friend and our cooperation will always continue.
