Fire Fighter Services in Pakistan
Like other parts of the World, firefighters in Pakistan also left no stone unturned and have tried their best to perform their duty despite limited resources.
Their journey towards establishing a vigorous fire service was not without challenges, which finally led to the establishment of the Fire Rescue Service in 2007.
Only in Karachi, at least 33 firefighters have lost their lives while scores of others were disabled while protecting the lives and property of the people.
Observing the day aims to pay tribute to all those who are serving in this challenging field and to those who have sacrificed their lives for humanity.
