LAHORE: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan on Sunday promised free electricity on the consumption of up to three hundred units if they come into power in the upcoming general elections.

The IPP leader said that the major problem of the country is inflated electricity bills. However, he claimed that after coming into power, they would provide financial help to WAPDA, and people who consume up to three hundred units would get free electricity.

Aleem Khan said that he was running a network of free dispensaries, but he wanted to expand it across the country for the deserving people.

IPP, PML-N Seat Adjustment

In a separate development, IPP has prepared a list of national and provincial assembly constituencies for seat adjustment with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the elections, according to media reports.

IPP committee, comprising Awn Chaudhry, Ishaq Khakwani, and Nauman Langrial, prepared lists of constituencies for seat adjustment in consultations with the party’s top brass.

The Jahangir Khan Tareen-led IPP wanted to make seat adjustments in twenty National Assembly constituencies – nineteen in Punjab and one in Karachi.
