KHANEWAL, (Pakistan): In a bid to rally public support and spread their message far and wide, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) is set to host a public gathering at Khanewal’s Jehanian Stadium today (October 28).

This gathering marks the first in a series of planned public meetings across the province of Punjab, where the IPP’s leadership will engage with the public to discuss their manifesto and public welfare initiatives.

The esteemed panel of speakers for this event includes IPP Patron Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen, President Abdul Aleem Khan, Central Information Secretary Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, as well as Aoun Chaudhry and Ayaz Khan Niazi, all of whom will address the eager audience.

As per the IPP’s schedule, the first phase of public meetings is slated to take place in nine districts of Punjab. Following the Khanewal meeting, the party will host gatherings in Hafizabad on November 3, Narowal on November 9, Layyah on November 12, and Kasur on November 17, 2023. Furthermore, the IPP has planned rallies in Gujranwala on November 20, Jhang on November 24, Sahiwal on December 2, and Faisalabad on December 9, 2023, all to engage with the local population and share their vision.

Looking forward, the second phase of meetings will encompass districts like Multan, Rawalpindi, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, and more, with specific dates to be announced at a later time.

In the midst of these political endeavors, President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Abdul Aleem Khan, took a moment to reflect on a somber occasion – the 76th anniversary of India’s occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. He conveyed his unwavering solidarity with the people of the region and paid tribute to their persistent freedom struggle.

Abdul Aleem Khan noted that the Kashmiri people have demonstrated remarkable courage in the face of extensive Indian oppression and illegal activities throughout the years. He strongly emphasized that India’s occupation, achieved through the use of force, is a clear violation of human rights and United Nations resolutions, deserving of widespread condemnation.

Khan firmly asserted that peace in the region cannot be achieved until the Kashmir issue is resolved in compliance with UN resolutions. He went on to state that the entire nation stands united with the Kashmiri people, admiring their unwavering resolve to combat Indian brutality.

As the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party embarks on its mission to engage with the public and convey its vision for a brighter future, the public meeting in Khanewal stands as a crucial and symbolic step in this journey. The IPP leadership’s commitment to addressing the concerns of the people, along with its solidarity with the Kashmiri cause, underscores the party’s determination to make a meaningful impact on the political landscape of Punjab and beyond.
