TEHRAN: Iranian President Syed Ibrahim Raisi has strongly condemned the deadly suicide bombings in Pakistan that left at least 57 people dead and over 80 others injured.

In his condolence message, Iran’s President emphasized that this senseless act once again highlights the terrorists’ ignorance and deviation from the compassionate teachings of Islam, as their sole aim appears to be sowing discord among Muslims.

President Raisi expressed his sympathy to Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alavi, and the Pakistani people in the wake of the terrorist attack in Balochistan’s Mastung and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu.

He affirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s unwavering readiness to collaborate with Pakistan in combating all forms of terrorism and extremism. President Raisi also called upon the international community, especially Islamic nations, to respond decisively to this heinous act and work with Pakistan towards preventing such tragic events from recurring.
