ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has extended warm greetings to the Pakistani nation on the 77th occasion of Independence Day.
The embassy in a statement on social media platforms said, ‘As the Great Nation of Pakistan celebrates the 77th occasion of the Independence Day of Pakistan, we extend our heartiest greetings on this joyous occasion to the government and people of Pakistan.’
“Our wishes are prosperity, well-being, peace & security for our friendly, brotherly and neighbourly country of Pakistan,” it said.
The Pakistani nation is set to celebrate its 77th Independence Day tomorrow, August 14, with a series of vibrant celebrations and a renewed commitment to the spirit of the Pakistan Movement. The day will be marked by several events and ceremonies reflecting national pride and unity.
The celebrations will commence with a grand thirty-one gun salute in the Federal Capital, Islamabad, and a twenty-one gun salute at provincial headquarters. At dawn, special prayers will be offered in mosques for peace, solidarity, and prosperity for the nation.
