Iranian Ambassador Meets Pakistan’s Defence Minister to Discuss Bilateral Ties

ISLAMABAD: Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam on Wednesday met with Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Defence, Defence Production, and Aviation in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the Defence Minister emphasized the cordial and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran, rooted in centuries of shared religious and cultural affinities.

He highlighted the significance of the Joint Border Commission, stating that Pakistan has implemented necessary measures for effective border management and underscoring the importance of ongoing collaborative efforts.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
