TEHRAN: An Iranian military commander issued a stern warning on Sunday, declaring that “Iran’s skies are not safe for aggressors, and that any aggression will be met with deadly blows.”

According to reports from Mehr News Agency, Brigadier General Rahimzadeh, commander of Iran’s Joint Air Defence Khatam Headquarters, extended congratulations on the “heroic operations” carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in response to what he described as actions by the “criminal Zionist entity.”

General Rahimzadeh emphasized the coordination efforts preceding the IRGC’s operation, highlighting collaboration with the Aerospace Forces and the Civil Aviation Organization. This coordination involved changing flight routes to ensure the safety of passenger aircraft during the military operation.

“After completing the mission,” General Rahimzadeh stated, “the corridors were fully reopened, and now flights are taking place over the country in excellent conditions and complete safety.”

The IRGC announced the operation as a response to an alleged attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus by what they referred to as the “Zionist enemy.”
