ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s squash veteran, Group Captain (retd) Irfan Asghar has claimed victory at the 6th Asian Master Squash Championship 2024, held in Macau, China.
According to Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), dominating the final match, Irfan outplayed his rival, Korean Ryun Hoe Koo, with an impressive 3-0 victory, securing the title for the South Asian country. The final scores stood at 11-6, 11-4 and 14-12.

This marks Irfan’s second win in the Asian Master Squash Championship, having earlier won the title in 2010. His victory reinforces his status as a leading figure in Pakistan’s squash scene. Presently serving as the Director Academies of the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), he continues to inspire the next generation of players.
