IRSA Released 329,500 Cusecs of Water

ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) released 329,500 cusecs of water on Sunday, with 429,700 cusecs of intake from various stations.

According to data published by IRSA, the Indus River level at Tarbela Dam is 1517.66 feet, which is 119.66 feet above the dead water level of 1,398 feet. The inlet and outlet of the lake are 173,500 cusecs and 161,000 cusecs, respectively.

The water level of the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam is 1,194.30 feet, 144.30 feet above the dead water level of 1,050 feet. The collected water and discharged water are 97,700 cusecs and 10,000 cusecs, respectively.

Emissions of 225,300, 189,000, 152,500 and 84,700 were recorded for Karabakh, Taunsa, Gudu and Sukkur, respectively.

Similarly, Nowshera from the Kabul River released a total of 65,300 cusecs of water and the Chenab River in Marala released 73,500 cusecs.
