KARACHI: Pakistani actor, Fawad Khan is set to make a grand comeback in Bollywood, sharing the screen with Vani Kapoor in an upcoming film, sources said. The upcoming untitled movie will be filmed exclusively in the United Kingdom, Indian media reported. Aarti Bagdi will direct the Bollywood romantic comedy, sources said.
Fawad Khan’s global appeal is undeniable, with a massive following among South Asians worldwide. He has been a part of the esteemed Marvel cinematic universe. The details of this latest project are being kept strictly under wraps, and no one knows about the details, the report added.
The romantic comedy story is about two heartbroken people who meet by chance and ultimately support each other, unintentionally falling in love. Fawad khan, renowned for his performance in “Khoobsurat” and “Kapoor & Sons” and “Zindagi Gulzar hai”, discussed industry politics in an interview with Ahmad Ali Butt.
The actor added that although he got immense love and appreciation from India, but every industry has its politics. He said it is easier to compete in your own country. Fawad khan is set to appear in the upcoming series “Barzakh”, reuniting with his former co-star Sanam Saeed from their hit show “Zindagi Gulzar Hai”. Moreover, he will share the screen with Actress Mahira Khan and Sanam Saeed in Netflix’s first Pakistan-themed original production, “Jo Bachy Hain Sang Samait Lo”, based on the novel by Farhat Ishtiaq.
On the other hand, Vaani Kapoor, who has impressed audience with her performance in “Shuddh Desi Romance, “Befikre”, and “Bell Bottom”, will next be seen in upcoming films like “Khel Khel Mein” and “Badtameez Gill.”
