ISLAMABAD: The administration of the federal capital has announced a local holiday in Islamabad on Monday on the occasion of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) President’s visit to Pakistan.
According to a notification issued by the office of the District Magistrate Islamabad, Monday will be a local holiday in the city.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad also issued a local holiday notification.
Offices of essential services to remain open in Islamabad
However, according to Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon, the Capital Development Authority (CDA), SNGPL, IESCO, and hospital staff will not observe the holiday.
The district administration and Metropolitan Corporation staff will also be on duty on Monday.
