ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Bar Association has condemned the filing of FIR (First Information Report) against Barrister Hasan Niazi. Hasan Niazi is the son of senior journalist Hafuzullah Niazi and nephew of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. His Twitter handle also mentioned him as the focal person of Imran Khan.

A press release by the Bar on Tuesday maintained that the interim Punjab government committed human rights violations and political victimization, the worst example of the interim government.

It is worth noting that the father of Hasan Niazi (Hafeezullah Niazi) is famous for his anti-PTI stance in his writings and views; however, his son is a strong supporter and member of the PTI.
