ISLAMABAD: Islamabad’s Ramna Police have registered a sedition case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan for allegedly spreading hatred among public against statuary institutions.
The complaint was filed by a magistrate, according to police.
Citing examples from different recent speeches of the former premier, the complainant alleged that Imran Khan used inappropriate language for various officers of statuary institutions and tried to defame them by leveling false allegations.
In order to fulfil his nefarious designs, the PTI chief tried to incite mutiny among the rank and file of Pakistan Army by brainwashing soldiers, the first information report (FIR) read.
The FIR further stated that Imran’s actions were a threat to the integrity of the country and the state.
