ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s vicious attack on the city and camp of Jenin in the State of Palestine, killing more than 10 Palestinians.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office said in a statement on Friday “Pakistan condemns the spate of disgraceful, cold-blooded, and murderous assaults that have already killed more than 30 Palestinians in January,”.

Islamabad reiterates its support for Palestinians

It said that Islamabad called upon the world to assume its responsibility for bringing these illegal incursions and acts by the Israeli occupation troops to a stop and ensuring adequate safety of the human rights of the Palestinians.

“Islamabad reiterates its strong support to the legitimate struggle of Palestinians for complete realization of their fundamental rights including the right to self-determination,” the statement added.

The Foreign Office said that the government and the people of Pakistan extended their sincere heartfelt condolences to the relatives of victims and best wishes for full and speedy recovery of the wounded in this brutal assault.

It further said Islamabad renewed its call for a feasible and independent Palestinian State, with pre-1967 borders and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital city, as resolutions of United Nations and OIC.
