KABUL:  The current state of the Helmand River’s water level has raised concerns within the Ministry, as officials describe the situation as “alarming”. With water being a vital resource for various purposes, this development could have significant implications for the region’s agriculture and overall well-being. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and considering appropriate measures to address the issue.

In a recent statement, Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Kabir emphasized the Islamic Emirate’s positive strides in international diplomacy. He revealed that the Emirate’s relations with the global community are on a path of improvement. Speaking before a group of instructors who had returned from educational programs abroad, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir underlined the Emirate’s outreach efforts.

Our embassies are now established in 16 countries, enabling us to extend our hand for engagement with the international community, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir stated, emphasizing the Emirate’s presence on the global stage.

The Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed the Emirate’s commitment to maintaining the Islamic government’s stability and security. He expressed confidence in the ongoing diplomatic efforts, highlighting the Emirate’s resolve to engage positively with the world.

We remain dedicated to safeguarding the principles of the Islamic government. Our commitment to security, diplomacy, and global engagement will remain steadfast, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir stated.

Speaking alongside him at the same event, Anas Haqqani, a senior member of the Islamic Emirate, emphasized the sacrifices that led to the Emirate’s rise to power. He countered notions that the Emirate’s government would be short-lived, asserting that it had not come into existence through mere political deals.

The foundation of our government is rooted in sacrifice. It is not a result of political compromises. We have faced challenges and emerged stronger. The world has witnessed its own limitations and retreated,” Anas Haqqani asserted.

The gathering took place just days before the second anniversary of the former government’s collapse, reflecting on the significant changes that have taken place in Afghanistan’s political landscape.

As the Islamic Emirate navigates its way on the global stage, its commitment to diplomatic engagement and governance stability remains at the forefront. With ongoing efforts to establish diplomatic ties and reassure international partners, the Emirate seeks to shape its future through dialogue, understanding, and a strong sense of identity.
