TEHRAN, Iran: The Islamic Resistance in Iraq launched a missile attack on an Israeli military target in occupied Palestine, reportedly using al-Arqab missiles. Arab sources confirmed the attack, though no immediate casualties were reported.

Since Israel’s war on Gaza began in early October, the Iraq-based group has been targeting Israeli sites. The Resistance has also struck American military bases in Iraq and Syria, in response to the U.S. backing of Israel’s operations in Gaza.

Israel’s ongoing offensive has heavily bombarded Gaza, hitting hospitals, homes, and places of worship, following the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian forces on October 7.
