BEIRUT, Lebanon: Lebanon’s state news agency said two people were killed in an Israeli drone attack on a car in the south of the country on Tuesday evening.

Israel and Hamas ally Hezbollah have exchanged fire on a near-daily basis after the Palestinian group’s October 7 attack on southern Israel sparked the Gaza war.

An attack by an enemy drone that targeted a car on the Tyre-Al-Hush highway left two people dead, the National News Agency said, adding that ambulances had rushed to the scene.
