GAZA: A former Palestinian Authority (PA) minister was killed on Sunday in an Israeli attack on his home in Gaza, local officials and media reported.
According to official news agency of Palestine Wafa, Youssef Salama, the 68-year-old ex-minister of the Palestinian Authority, was killed in an attack on the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.
He served as minister in PA from February 2005 to March 2006. Youssef Salama also worked as a preacher at Al-Aqsa mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem, local media reported.

Meanwhile, the health ministry in the Gaza Strip has reported that at least 21,822 Palestinian people, mostly women and children, have been killed in the Palestinian territory in the ongoing Israeli attacks since October 7. The health ministry said the figure includes 150 deaths in the past 24 hours. It added that more than 56,451 people have been injured in Gaza since October 7.
