JENIN: Israeli forces carried out a drone strike in the Jenin city of the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, resulting in the deaths of four Palestinian civilians, the Palestinian health ministry said. The incident adds to the mounting violence in the region, triggered by Israel’s ongoing airstrikes and ground invasion in the Gaza Strip.

While the health ministry did not provide detailed information on the fatalities, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that the four individuals were killed in an Israeli drone strike targeting the Old City. According AFP news agency, Israeli military vehicles entered the Jenin refugee camp, accompanied by a drone flying overhead.

Amid the escalating tension, the Red Crescent stated that Israeli forces continued to storm the Jenin camp, hindering ambulance crews from entering without prior coordination, exacerbating the challenges in addressing medical cases.
