GAZA: In an overnight operation, the Israeli military successfully rescued two hostages, Fernando Simon Marman (60) and Louis Har (70), who were held by Hamas during the October 7 attacks in Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak.

The joint operation, involving the IDF, ISA, and Israel Police, took place in Rafah, a southern city in Gaza.

Both hostages were found to be in good medical condition and were promptly transferred to Sheba Tel Hashomer hospital for medical examination.

This rescue comes amid heightened tensions following the October attacks, during which Palestinian militants seized approximately 250 hostages.

While some were released during a temporary truce in November, others remain in captivity, prompting Israel’s continued efforts to secure their release through diplomatic channels and military operations.
