ADLOUN, Lebanon: Late Saturday, Israeli airstrikes hit a depot storing ammunition for Hezbollah in Adloun, southern Lebanon. This town is located approximately 40 km north of Israel’s border. The strikes resulted in a series of loud explosions, audible across the region.

According to security and medical sources, at least four civilians were wounded in Adloun due to the attacks. These strikes occurred the same day that Israeli fighter jets targeted Houthi military positions in Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah.

Hezbollah warned that these actions could lead to a “new and dangerous phase” in the region.

The escalation follows Hezbollah’s declaration of a “support front” with Palestinians after Hamas attacked Israeli border communities on October 7. This event triggered Israel’s ongoing military offensive in Gaza, further intensifying regional tensions.
