CERNOBBIO: Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Saturday affirmed the country’s unwavering support for Ukraine and underscored that the current stalemate in the war highlights the correctness of the Western response to Russia’s invasion.
Following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy at a conference, Meloni stated, “China and India have a role to play in resolving the conflict. However, abandoning Ukraine is not an option.”
She further emphasized, “Supporting Ukraine is fundamentally a matter of national interest for us, and this stance will remain unchanged,” during her address at the annual TEHA business forum in northern Italy.
